Problem: Too much water on track.
Solution: Instead of 3' of water and the track being plowed, 1.5' of water will be added.
Problem: Christmas tree lights needed at start line of drag racing.
Solution: Christmas tree lights will be purchased and installed before next race, scheduled for April 21 st .
Problem: Drivers were not aware of it being their turn to race next.
Solution: Several things will be done to alleviate this problem:
4x8 boards will be used upstairs and downstairs to reflect who is racing next.
5 more speakers will be added to the pit area so the drivers can hear the announcements.
Drivers will not be allowed to drive out of the pit as long as they are still in competition.
Drivers will be required to enter a “staging area” to ensure everyone is ready and no time is lost.
Finally, it is the responsibility of the driver's spotter, to be aware when the driver is needed in the staging area. If there is no spotter, the driver is responsible.)
Problem: Spectators complained of the length of time it took for street class racing.
Solution: The solutions mentioned here will be addressed and in effect at the next race, April 21 st . Therefore, the length of time it takes for the street class will drastically shortened.
Problem: There were complaints that the race did not start on time?
Solution: Registration will be between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Competition will begin at 11:30 a.m. Further, the drivers meeting will begin at 10:40 a.m. sharp. Any truck entering admissions after 10:00 a.m. will not be allowed to race.
Problem: Truck Inspection and tech warning procedures.
Solution: If the techs find something wrong with the truck, (reference is made to the problem not being major enough to disqualify the truck) the tech will submit a warning slip to the driver and all warnings must be fixed before the next race or the truck will be disqualified.
